about

The Albany State University Chapter of Florida-Georgia Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (ASU-FGLSAMP) program is aimed at increasing the quality and quantity of students successfully completing science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) baccalaureate degree programs, and increasing the number of students interested in, academically qualified for and matriculated into programs of graduate study.

The ASU-FGLSAMP is currently entering another year of hard work. Along with recruiting top students, there has been an increased focus on the transfer of students from community colleges and the retention of students. ASU-FGLSAMP scholars have the opportunity to conduct research, peer tutor, lead interactive workshops, and travel to national conferences.
